Even better than the real thing

The name of the band is program: "The Plagiators“ do not play their own songs. But they play them as if they were their own compositions. Thus "I want to break free" by "Queen" becomes a dragging rumba with a spectacular, distorted violin solo. Revolutionary also the realization of the Plagiators that "Bad Moon Rising" has to come along in minor, with the deep black lyrics! The quintet conjures songs from a large stylistic and musical cornucopia from the Fifties to the present. The result are idiosyncratic versions of more or less well-known songs from rock, pop, folk, country, rhythm and blues, reggae, blues and much more. Very happy and good for the ears, "The Plagiators" from Baden (Switzerland) play largely unplugged. With grooving acoustic guitar, swinging violin, melodious cello, polyphonic vocals, smooth bass and extremely musical drums.
